2021 was the year that brought me to tears, as I felt like my life was hanging by a thread.

I had never cried as much as I did in 2021. Despite having a job, I was financially struggling.

I remember someone once looking at me and saying, "You're earning a salary, but it's not reflecting in your appearance."

That night, those words had a deep impact on me and I couldn't help but cry.

I prayed and cried to God, simply asking, "Show me the path I should take."

One important lesson I've learned is that prayer works.

The results may not be immediate, but believe me, you are sowing seeds for your future.

In the last week of December, 2021, someone in my NYSC CDS group posted about a free Udemy course.

Coincidentally, I happened to be at the Pharmacy that day and decided to enroll in the course.

I completed it and wrote a story.

When I shared it with my friends, they liked it.

Encouraged by their positive feedback, I decided to post it on Instagram, where it received around 90 likes.

I couldn't contain my excitement and danced around because that was a significant number. I imagined 90 people telling me, "Dammy, you did a great job."

 Despite their mind words, I felt I could do better and learned a couple of things along the way.

I told a friend of mine that I wanted to take writing seriously, and she supported me. I invested in courses and materials because I wanted to improve. 

From that point on, I started writing consistently.

 The challenge I faced included staying consistent , knowing and identifying my audience, and articulating my words in a way that people find relatable and compelling.

Truthfully, there were days when I didn't feel like showing up, but I consistently reminded myself that the future has much more in store for me.
